Mr. Collart was previously a SVP for Sonic Solutions responsible for driving corporate and technology strategy across Sonic's divisions, including the Roxio consumer software division. Mr. Collart joined Sonic via its acquisition of InterActual Technologies in 2004, where he was co-founder, President and CEO.
InterActual is best known for inventing what is now called "connected DVD" or "WebDVD" that shipped on over 1500 Hollywood DVDs and used by over 130M consumers worldwide.

In addition to his role as an evangelist, speaker, and developer in the DVD community for the last 12+ years, Mr. Collart was chosen by insider publications as one of the 21 most influential executives in the DVD industry since DVD's introduction in December 1995.

Mr. Collart received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego. Mr. Collart has 18 issued patents and over 20 pending patents, several of which are essential for the Blu-ray and HD DVD formats.
